This weekend I designed models for hats and held objects based on images Tom drew up for our player character. Here are some render stills.

New prototype Artwork (10/18)

I've been working on some new things this week, firstly Jon and I put together a new model prototype for the goblin PC, using simple and separate meshes for legs and arms that can allow some primitive, blocky movements that may serve our art style for this game and let us keep the simple geometric models we have designed thus far. Also I created a prototype of the Viking helmet, posted are screenshots of both. I'm currently designing a prototype jester hat.

September ~ Prototype Debriefing / Moving Onward !

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=tRHwu7EpXqo

Here is a video displaying what we were able to accomplish for our prototype. I'm starting here with this blog entry because I haven't been keeping this fully updated and there is a lot left out on this blog so far. I'm a blog noob so please (Roger and Bob) bear with me.

The work I have to show for September is in this video, I can't display the models individually as easily, I will make some screenshot scenes of models I've produced in Maya later. I just want this video to show for the record some of the progress I made for the prototype. I was the artist on the team for the prototype and thankfully our game was selected after the presentations.

So, now our group is upwards of 10 people, and things are beginning to take off. I haven't been able to produce too many new models yet as we are still in the process of deciding on what new art assets we will need and the general theme of the levels we plan to design. As things are created and developed I will post their progress on here.
