2/22/2012 ~ 2/26/2012

This week I've been making revisions to the goblin menu screen animations and textures. I've also created a leaf mesh for our new bouncing platforms, as well as plank bridge platforms. I'm also working on retexturing the trees for all levels. Thursday/Friday I made revisions to the background tree of Jon's Forest level 2, adding branches, foliage and textures. Currently I'm designing a gondola, and other meshes for the village/castle level.

2/18/2012

Lately I've been so busy I've hardly kept up with my blog here. Last week I spent a lot of my time working on designing a new first level for our game. Including making revisions, new models, fixing mistakes with exports etc. I've also textured and laid the UVs out for the 3D Jester hat, designed new plank style platforms of specific dimensions, modeled the entire start up menu UI including trees and drop down menu, as well as animating them. I've also made several revisions to the menu screen, including remodeling the hut in the 2d chip style, and adding various background details such as a new sky texture background with a modeled moon etc. Tom is working on polishing some of these textures for me further. Pictures will follow.

2/10/2012

Tonight I made a revision to the Dragon helm, adding a snout and teeth. Also I made 3 signs marking the start, finish, and continue points.

I textured and laid the UVs out for Tom's new archer and dragon hat. I also modeled and textured a broken bridge mesh for the level I am currently designing.

This weekend in addition to the ballista, I have animated Tom's venus flytrap and thrown a placeholder texture on it that I think looks pretty nice. I am also animating the chest and creating clothing variations for the base enemies.
